Not sure what sizes will fit under the front seat storage compartment. What weight/style do you guys use?

I've had the best experience with a 15 lb navy anchor "black" from academy sports. 24.00 and change.
Lake bottom, usually silty where we are with wind. Fits nice.  00 E-22.  Rivers and inlets might require a larger or different
type.

Guess things change based on where you boat but people in Havasu swear by Slide Anchor's Box Anchor. Me too, no doubt. Heavy, very short lies required (anchor can be very nearly under the boat). Super sick, bought a second one last year to go along with the one we've been using for 13. Now with two, life is way mo betta. Both fold up and stow nicely in the bow cushion areas along with all the other lines we carry. Could give a higher recommendation. Used a cheapy we found as a second for a number of years and it was big and had no staying power. We have mud/silt, rock, and sand.

Think we use small. Will go double check if you're interested.

Thank you Curtis and YotaFreak for the replies. I ended up buying an 8lb fluke from the gas station at the harbor for $18. Set up shop in a cove off the main channel to test it out. Had plenty of traffic (and wind) by the boat, and the anchor held strong (mud, silt, sand, rock). It was probably the most abuse it would take compared to the rest of the season, minus July 4th. But for tying up in a secluded cove, with only idling boats passing by, it shouldn't be a problem at all.

Note: It doesn't fit under the front center, but it does fit under the front seat side compartments.
