Are we talking about the trans or the transfer case (or are they combined)?  Sounds like a good dealer question.

In the rear is the trans which has a dipstick with ATF on it.  Made by Hurst.  I believe it is the trans?
In front is what I believe is the Vdrive unit.  Where is the trans filter?  I can't see it anywhere.

After 2 days of looking for the trans filter I called Atlanta Marine.  There is no filter in the Hurst 450 trans.  I will look for the radio, windshield, and vinyl seat filters for the rest of the weekend.
