Greetings,
I bent the tip of just one of my prop blades today. Actually the dude who was driving did. I think it hit something submerged close to the boat ramp...like maybe the curb of the ramp while the prop was not spinning.
I remember serval years back sending a prop off to get rebalanced but i wonder if i should try to just bend it back myself before resorting to  shipping it off for cnc balancing. the good news is i have a spare.  I've had this Acme prop on my boat for probably 8 years and never damaged it. It is clearly toast because i got in the boat and reved it up and it vibrates pretty bad. Again, i only noticed ONE blade bent
Has anyone had to get a prop repaired lately and who can do it. ? I'm not keen of shipping it off for several weeks but if there is a local shop (Lake Lanier in Gainesville, GA) i might try that.
Any ideas?
