Nut to adjust the Drive Shaft seal

Hey guys, maybe I am overlooking something but I can't for the life of me figure out where the nut to adjust the drive shaft seal is.  Anyone know the location or any advice on setting this properly?  Hoping I can fix my leak by adjusting this instead of having to replace/rework the seal.

I believe for both the direct drive and v-drive the shaft log is under the stern floor panel. There should be a big nylon nut that you can turn to increase the pressure.

Adjust it a bit at a time. There should be some water dripping out when the shaft is turning and very little when the boat is stopped.  The water lubricates the shaft seal and keeps the shaft from being burned by the seal. There is a picture of the assembly and the drip rate here:

adjusting the nut seemed to have little effect.

Before I go taking apart everything and repacking the seal, I think I may have too much of a gap between the nut and the hose. Is the nut supposed to be a little under the hose, maybe even under the hose clamp?  Wondering if anyone has a picture of how this is supposed to look.
