Wanted to Buy-500-600lbs Fat Sac
« on: October 20, 2004, 17:35:16 pm »
Fellas

Part of the deal that I was working on for some fat sacs fell through.  The guy selling me the 550lbs sac decided to sell it without conferring back with me to find out whether I wanted it or not.  So I am now looking for any type and weight of sacs, but would prefer one between 500 to 600lbs.  If you have anything that would fit this area or any sacs you would like to sell, reply to this post or pm me at mvermeer@marcus-mer-cleg.k12.ia.us

Cal, you mentioned you had some sacs that you used very little.  Maybe I can help take those off of your hands.  If not, that is cool to.

Na, I'm gonna hang onto mine. I don't use them very often, just when we decide to go with only a few people, or when we want a monster wake.

Once again, since that deal fell through, I highly recommend you keep it simple and just pick up a couple of the LaunchPad side sacks, 440 lbs X 2.  Throw 100-200 of sand/lead in the bow, and call it good. Once you see how much of a pain in the butt filling and emptying bags is, you'll thank me...  They're pretty cheap too, I think about $170 for the pair, durable as hell.

Fair enough.  I just thought I would give it a try.  I have a guy that is considering selling me his 600lber because he wants to upgrade to a 700lber.  I will see what comes of that deal.

Your prices are damn good, Chris. I like how the Rule 1100 is only 4 bucks more than the 750 attwood.

excellent prices on sacks, my covers are all ripped from overfilling anyway, so coverless works for me.

104 for a Fat Seat. You DD guys need to have one, even if you only use it to piss off bass fishermen. That's cheaper than Ebay.

I'll get Lesman to put your banner up here.

Glad to hear you like the prices and products at www.discountwake.com but this is not my site, it is my friends(Chris M).  He is ussually up for bartering and has been on this site a few times and knows EpicMariners are good people  ;)  I own www.wakeworx.com and will help out any EpicMarine people with accessories.  My friend used to sell WakeWorx stuff on his site but with all of my attentions on the new Epic Wake Boat I can't keep up steady inventory so I ussually sell on E-bay whenever I get stuff in.  I'll bring him into the conversation and see if any deals can be worked, he is back east till Monday but will probably hop on then  ;D

Hey man- Iv been looking to add a little ballast myself. I found this cool site that will build a custom bladder to you specifications, They will also lay out all the pumps, hoses, valves, and switches. I have not called them yet so im not sure of the price (I dout it's cheap), but its worth a look. Im not sure of the URL but the system is called Hippopotamus bladder system. If you use GOOGLE it will be one of the top few sites.

Fellas

Thanks for all the info.  I found a guy who will sell me 3 new sacs for a pretty good price.  I will now have the capacity of adding 2,380lbs of ballast to my boat.  I will probably never fill them all full, but have that opportunity to do so is nice to have.  It looks like this post has helped a few others out with questions about ballast and where to find them.  Thanks again.

Hippo  went out of business a while back, and stiffed a lot of people that had paid for systems that they never received.

I would not recommend that you do business with anyone from Hippowakes if they are still around.
