Ya know that seat cushion that turns the bow into a playpen. I want one. I had one that the insurance company confiscated with the sinker when it sank. Anyone got one they don't want? Or that they might want to trade for an SX back seat or two?  Or for an airboom ski rack? Or for a spare tube? Or for a cute six year old girl with an attitude? If so let me know. If not, can you help me out Capt. Rick? Festivus, as I recall, you got one of these. Where'd you order it and how much was it? I'll probably order one through marine products.

On another topic, I am so offended by HCollado's avatar. I'm in Utah, and I'm sure I could be prosecuted for just viewing it. If you are in Mississippi, Alabama, or Idaho, you might also get sent to the big house. Beware my friends. HCollado is going to destroy us all! I'm going to have to discontinue my membership on this forum rather than go to jail. My avatars on the other hand, will never get you busted in Utah or anywhere else for that matter. They serve two grand purposes--ballast and eye candy for Festivus, Javanxx and those of us in the above mentioned States.

Maybe you can tell from my posts that I like sarcasm a lot. Welcome HCollado! Variety is the spice of life.

It is called a bowfiller cushion.  The dealer in Dallas got mine for me (Phil Dill Boats).  I think they are $200 or so.

so, I'm on the phone with Marine Products ordering a bow filler cushion and there are different colors. I don't know which to order. They think it is Surf. Is that correct? My HIN is TMME0042E101. The hull color is white, gray and purple and the seats are bright white and gray. The seats are not off white like they were in the yellow and purple boat I sank.

Hey Cap'n -- whatdya know about the rear seat cushions? J. Dorge just replaced the rear seats for me last spring because the seams were torn.  Guess what?  The middle back seat tore out again last week.  What does it cost to get a replacement, if even still available?  I have a 2001 X22 with the gray/white interior.

Thanks for your help, Cap'n!

Thank you for the info. To be completely honest, I'm not sure what the first option means... is that the cost to send it in to be repaired?

AND...am I reading the second one right? Does that mean that there is actually an option of buying a step that can take the place of the middle cushion?  I sure hope so... I was actually debating just building my own step for there. Getting to the stern of the d-drives is difficult to do without stepping on the upholstery (I broke my own rule when I stepped on and tore the seat this weekend).

Thanks for your help Capt. Rick. I really appreciate it.

The insert fits flush in the cut out under the center cushion.

I'm sorry...I don't understand.  Does that mean it a step?  Is the first option you threw out the cost of sending back for a replacement seat?

Thanks,

YESS that's what it means and it's exactly what I need. My boat has never spent one night without the cover on, had the back seat removed for three of it's five years, and the stitching still fell apart after a year and a half. It's not very robust. Mine wasn't covered under warrantee, the excuse given was that it was exposed to sun and water. No shit, it's a  BOAT.

I'm going to get some vinyl and get mine redone locally, and buy the center step seat.

Rick, will a roll of each do a whole interior?

Rick, can you give me a price/part numbers on skins for a 2000 E22, Surf interior? Also, would a roll of each color grey do the whole boat?

Thanks,

Pete
