Um ya, in your braw. Or no ballast.  I love my epic too but all day long of riding with any ballast will burn more than 1/4 tank.

My S22 uses a little more gas as well.  I was using about 25 gallons per day at Powell.  Maybe you have the fuel sipper option.  I wonder where I can get one.

fuel sipper option??  Please enlighten me Obiwan.

I'm not sure exactly how it works, but I think that option puts a limitor on the throttle cable so you can't open the injectors more than 1/4 of the way, thereby saving fuel.  You do loose a little power though.
