DD Perfect Pass setitings
« on: April 28, 2005, 18:19:33 pm »
FYI, the best settings I found were:

KDW 185
NN 60

This is with 700 lbs in the trunk, 1500 lb fat seat, 600 lb bag in nose, 50 lb lead under front left seat, and 5 adult passengers.

And HOLY COW the WAKE WAS HUGE!!

I tried these settings and it works SO much better than the settings I was using. NN of 60 means that it reads the speed much more often, and KDW of 185 means that it makes big moves to correct speed. It is a little twitchy with no weight, but with a sack in the back or one front and back, it works amazingly well. Thanks Blindside.

No problem.  I also found out that if the driver floors it and does not pull the throttle back up a little when you near the set speed it leaves to much slack in the cable and the perfect pass has to over compensate and it does not work as well.  Be a good driver and slow the boat down a little when you near your set speed so you don't fly past it and have to come all the way back down.  Wish my wife was reading this lol.

Yep, it is normal on all boats with PP. I tell my kids to take it to 4k, then back off to 3400 and let PP do it's thing.
