Floor panel removal
« on: September 07, 2005, 16:35:35 pm »
What does it take to remove the floor panel over the battery and bilge pump area.  Need to change out bilge pump and would make life much easier.

I know how to do a Epic 21 or 22 with direct drive. Remove the battery to make the job a lot easier. After the battery is out remove the engine cover because it sits on the edge of the panel you are removing. My bilge pump is forward of the pylon, then battery, then bilge pump. All you have to do after engine cover is removed is lift the panel up starting near the front of the engine. You will have to maneuver the panel a little bit to get it past  the seat adjuster lever. It is fairly easy to get it up and over the pylon. Good luck.
