Please help Epic will not run. please read all
« on: May 20, 2006, 19:42:09 pm »
I bought a 99 epic 21 last year.  i took it out on the lake and found out that it sputtered a little and thought it might just be bad gas or a little water.  no big deal.  took it out for the first time today since storing it.  Started right up.  ran for about 4 min then quit. now not only did it quit but nothing worked.  no blower no lights nothing.  you know when you attach the battery the gauges make a little noise.  when i unplugged the battery and attached it again the gauges did nothing.  so i now know it is electrical but what is it?  it is a ground?  if so how can i check it.  i am going to go out and reattach everything on the gauge panel but any and all advice would be great.  ill be checking in all day so thanks in advance

I'm certainly not a mechanic, but I would probably check the battery switch next. Make sure it is clearly in the "On" position and check for corrosion.

Sounds like westtx is on to something with the battery. Did you charge it after storage?
Don't be so humble, you're not that great.

It looks like it was the fuse connection from the battery switch. ?it was loose. do i just pack that with dielectric grease? ?looks like there was a bunch in there already. ?thanks again
