these poor kids had to pay for their own gas on 4 july
Dad (XSTAR DAD) wouldn't even whip out the card for them. Please help the underpriviledged.

Hey, just wanted to send a shout out to the 61% better boat list.

Just got back from a little trip to Havasu. Spent a half day Thursday on the lake, and full days Friday and Saturday. Did a lot of wakeboarding (our little Brandon's turning all the heads out there and loves trying to bust in front of other boats), had the 1500 pound ballast in there for like 11 miles Friday, and spent some lengthy stretches over 30 MPH Saturday. All told, we logged 12.2 hours, burned 43.1 gallons of Chevron super, which averaged out to 3.53 GPH. A similar trip in June logged 12.7, 45.6 and 3.59 respectively.

Just amazing to me that we could have gone all weekend on one tank of fuel and have consistently averaged under 4 GPH.

Again, just a snippit...between our 12/27 and 2/4 winter rides, we logged 6.9 hours and burned 24.837 of Chevron Super. That works out to 3.6 gph. There was a little time without ballast, but a little time at slalom speeds to offset that. Most of the time is was straight up riding with 1500-ish in ballast and a small crew. I'll take that gph any day of the week.

No doubt. My d drive does a tiny bit better, but it's splittin' hairs at that point.
