speedo of the epic way off?!?!?

i have a 99 epic 21 and ...well one of the speedos doesnt work and the other registers over 50.  i know that is is off and i know that they can be adjusted a little but not when they are that off.  better to just replace them?  any other ideas?

I have an E21 and my speedos are somewhat erratic. I glance at them but rely more on the tachometer. Have you checked to see if the speedo that isn't working has a clogged line or pitot intake? This may be a simple solution. You can blow out the line with compressed air.

Don't leave home without a pair of swim goggles and a large safety pin to clear the pitot tube inputs. Until you put PP on your boat and remove the factory speedo:)
