No problem Lesman.  I added it to the boat registry the old fashion way.

Pete-if anyone could nurse the abandoned SX back to health, it would be you.  It is number 9 of 18 SX's made for 2002.

Pete, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH 2 EPICS! (until your wife finds out!)  Then you sell one (like trying to pick which kid you like most) to someone who doesn't live far and is a little bit over the top when it comes to details (like Wreck).  Then at least you know it is with someone who cares and you can get to see it once in awhile.  I cannot wait until the Southeast Epic group meets again, so I can see my first one.  You never forget your first girl, first beer and your first Epic!

I just reread the posts, I guess I missed Mvermeers post that the boat was not winterized last year. Freeze plugs popped out and oil cooler came off. That is a 16k screw up. Not sure I want to go to that route, but you can get a rebuilt 1uzfe for under 4k. I don't really have the time or space to replace an inboard engine.

Toyota said that they tested the engine by freezing it solid with no problems. I know i've seen one that froze and was toast. Maybe this one is different?
