Vinegar and Water to Remove Water Spots
« on: June 02, 2006, 03:12:18 am »
I have heard that using a 50/50 mixture of vinegar and water to remove water spots works very well.  Can this hurt the clear coat in any way? I have a few spots that need attention.

Krejci sighting....

The only thing you need to be aware of (as far as I know) is that it's an acid and will take off ALL the wax. It'll be clean, but the benefits of keeping her waxed will be gone. Some people carry vinegar & water as well as a spray wax to follow with. I believe that some of the products do both at once.

My confession is that in 3 years, I haven't waxed my Epic. Tried to last year but ran out of time.
