The Way Back Machine
« on: May 25, 2006, 04:29:17 am »
Don't know if you guys have ever tried this before, but if you ever wanted to see what the TMS website looked like try using "The Way Back Machine" the internet database of everything...? The closest thing we have to the "Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy."

Although not all of it is there, and some of the pages are like easter egg hunts, some tasty little morsels can be found.

HAH that's a trip. The site looks as crappy as it did back in the day! Derek will flip when he finds this, he's been wanting to see the original site for a while. Nice find Freelance!

Pete, you're right - from what's shown here, the site was slim pickins.

I'm locked on getting them wireframe drawings to work. If I had wireframe drawings, I'd be making little scale R/C Epics for us ;-)

That would be cool. Then i could teach the missus and the little tikes how to drive without risking the real thing.

Fun site to play with, but I couldn't get any of the pictures to open. Anyone have any success?

Just have to keep trying each link. Like FreeLance said, it's like easter eggs. Hidden morsels. And not really a lot of anything.
