fiberglass swim platform
« on: May 25, 2006, 21:31:52 pm »
Would anyone be interested in purchasing my old swim float including swim float side of mounting hardware of a 01 SX. It has some cosmetic dings on the back edge. It is 100% solid. If you have some gel coat know how im sure it would be an easy fix. I would like to get 300 bucks for it. If your interested let me know and I'll send you some pic's.

Yep... same here... send some pics... because I leave the ballast ful in the boat my teak deck spends a lot of time under water... I can either put some blocks between my deck and the mounting gear or I need to go fiberglass so the water doesn't matter...

Minor change of plans. I decided to have mine repaired. I did however locate a brand spankin new fiberglass platform with mounting hardware (i think only the female side of the hardware) at Ski Masters. Quoted cost was 700 bucks + tax (9.6%). I doubt this platform is in high demand and I may be able to get the price down a bit. If anyone would like to purchase I would recommend NOT calling SM about it. I'm sure they would jack the price up because you would be the 2nd epicer looking for it. If someone sent me the measurements of your mounting hardware I could go check the platform to see if it would fit your ride. If the platform will fit and you would like it send me the dough and I'll buy, and ship it out to you.
I'm not sure if the teak and fiberglass platforms use the same mounting hardware. Along with the measurements (center to center and distance from boat to:locking pin holes, end of bracket) send me a photo.
