What do you do with it?

Ski?  Wakeboard?

Wakeboard with a bunch of weight?

Probably all different answers.

Or are you just trying to go fast and don't care how long it takes?

Thanks for the PM bidbuy

I don't know if anyone has done this but if the prop is cupped more do our boats have enough torque to still get the RPMs up above 5500.

My concern would be that you would still be in the upper 40's with a different prop, but at a lower RPM, and a longer time to get there

My Epic 22 has an OJ 13x13 LH 4 blade with .080 cup. It gets to 6k with PP not used, 5800 with the PP bracket in place due to reduced throttle travel.

This question may be more for Cap't Rick but please, anybody that has an opinion shime in.

I have a '99 E22 with a 13X13 RH OJ prop. Why were some boats config with LH rotation and some with RH rotation?

Mainly curiousity as I have gotten used to docking and turning with a RH rotation prop.

Hector,
Check out this thread,

Wake,
Before switching to a opposing rotation, I checked with TMS, as it turns out the transmission can rotate in both directions whether in forward or reverse without any performance or technical problems. The throttle control  lever is set up to go both ways for different applications of boats. The nice thing is the four blade compared to the three. And now I can approach the dock on the drivers side and just reach out to grab, instead of jumping all the way over to the passenger side to try to safely dock.
The transmission still sounds the way it always did. I have 343 hours
on my 99 E22, hopefully we will get to 375 before the cold sets in.

PS. Have a super weekend everybody!!!!!!!

Eagle,
Thanks for quoting me on the rotation question. I have been busy
with baseball/softball, & coaching a girls U8 softball team. Went out
yesterday for the first time this year. Had a woody after I hit the
ignition, almost forgot the experience. "It is the most exciting way to boil
water".

I just wish I knew that before I bought our 4-blade a couple of years back.  I would like my boat to behave like my buddy's Malibu for no other reason than consistency.  Hopping from boat to boat sometimes will confuse you a little.

It also explains why propellersonline.com was confused.  I said left, they said right.  I had to send back the right, little did I know I could have made it work.
