I just bought a surfboard. Give me some pointers for doing it period. Gonna try it next week.

My boat works best if heavily weighted on the driver side. 800 in the trunk, 1100 on the side next to the engine compartment.  Luckily i am goofy footed.

Not a d/d, but think we had 750 in trunk, 750 in walkway, 650 in the port v-drive locker, 400 lead under/in lieu of the port, aft corner cushion, then a 375 tube sac along the whole left side cushions. Also, a very gentle left turn the whole time. My first try at it, but did okay backside (used to surf for real - don't much anymore though).

gobs of weight on the driver side, go about 10-12 mph. I don't have a wakesurfing board, we use a bigass Brian Grubb wakeskate or a 6'10" surfboard. Not ideal, a real board would be the right size for the wake

I don't have a GPS yet(working on it). We're still messing with the speed.I just bought a Ho kona surfer at Dick's on clearance for $125.I'm giving it one last time out before I put her down for the winter on wednesday,so I'll give an update on how it went.

Epic Rider... how did the season end with your wakesurfer?  I was just at our local boat show and they were showing the wakesurf boards and it looks like a lot of fun.

By the way, after seeing all the new ski boats at the show, I really realized how great our boats are.  I never really compared the Epic to the others until this show.  It seems that some of the boat manufacturers are still playing catch up even though they've had 6 years to work on it.

We got up and going..it was a blast.I still gotta play with the speed.Only a couple of us were able to drop the rope.I'm planning on buying Perfect Pass before spring,so hopefully that will make a big difference.

We are trying to dial in our wakesurf on starboard side and came across this post. Any additional ideas or updates on how you guys are setting up your gear would be appreciated.

So far we have the rear trunk ballast (700lbs), ballast bag behind driver seat (400lbs) and front starboard ballast (250lbs) plus driver and passengers. We are getting up and finding only a small pocket just behind the swim deck but it isn't very long.  Bouncing between 9-12mph and probably getting a better wake at around 11mph on perfectpass, but still seems like we haven't found the ideal speed

Boat appears to be leaning far enough, at least enough to make me almost nervous! Wondering if more weight in the bow is needed or is weight in entire trunk the issue and need to seperate ballast to only starboard side?

Any ideas would be awesome! Thanks.
