New Plugs fixed my issue. Now have a new one.
« on: July 04, 2006, 02:43:30 am »
Thanks to all that suggested new plugs.  put them in and they work like a champ.  boat runs so well sounds like a purring kitten.  I have been reading through the temp gauge issues that people have been having.  I noticed this weekend that my temp usually had been at 160 and never moved.  now i noticed that it was beginning to spike a little.  it would go up and then go down fast.  no alarms yet but i am concerned cause it hasnt moved off 160 before this weekend.  i just replaced the impeller this summer.  and i am going to check the screen but any other ideas?  thanks

Your temp will go up and down a bit. The water is warmer now, what you are seeing is your thermostat opening and closing. It is normal. Some people report seeing their temp spike up quite a bit, mine goes up to 177 or so then back down to 170 when idling, then down to 163 when running.
