yeah- humm about that--- I am sure you can repair your trailer for far less then you even buy a used one for.  Find a local trailer repair in yellow pages and take it by there and have them give you an estimate.  My estimate was only 700 bucks to get every thing back to normal.  Then find a "good ol boy" and have him sand blast it and repaint it for another couple hundred bucks.  Unless, you have some RUST issues this is probablly your best bet.   A brand new trailer is going to cost you 4-5 grand for a double axle.  A used one in good shape might pop up on ebay but be careful on size issues.
Boating is more then a passion- is a lifestyle.

Hey Epic Fanatics,
I believe Brandons issue are the brake calipers. Are they calipers
from and older Dodge? (Reliant or ???) And if they are, any guidance or suggestions?

The brake calipers are made by UFP (Trailer Maintenance-Bleeding Brakes for pictures).  Mine locked up going 65 mph and I blew a tire recently.

I've ordered calipers and bearings from Ameritrail so I can solve my hub overheating problem.

Cal swapped out his trailer a few months ago.  You might want to read about his experience in another thread or contact him for further details.

Good luck!

I found a used one, but got really lucky.  I still haven't adjusted the bunks (sigh...).  The trailer is from a Malibu Wakesetter and actually fits fairly closely.  The center rails are between .5 - 1" off the entire way (fixable with washers).

Anyway, as of Friday, I am a two truck and two trailer owner, so will twist somebody's arm to drive a truck and trailer and help me get to the water to do a switch-a-roo, then fix the new trailer, switch back onto the new trailer, then sell the old one.

But I don't know why I'm telling you all this, because you don't want my Ameritrail trailer.  It is RUSTY.  Though the bearings and brakes are all less than a year old... expecting to get around $1k for it.

I had to change my calipers a year ago and got them from Ameritrail for a reasonable price. I bet if you check with Capt Rick Toyota probably has them in stock also.

Sorry, just saw that you wanted more info about my trailer and I haven't logged in for a while.  I'll throw some pics and info up in the classified section...

Hey Cal, I'm out here on the left coast again, I could ride your truck around if you want.
