Foot Pedal
« on: October 05, 2006, 14:19:32 pm »
Quick question for you folks,

On our SX there's a large red circular foot switch on the foot-rest at the drivers seat. Obviously we're too busy playing the the engine at the moment to investigate what it is, but my curiosity is getting the better of me. Anyone got any ideas?

As Rob said we're going to take the engine out on Saturday so I'll be sure to bring the camera along and post pics if anyone's interested.

The red foot pedal is to engage and disengage the Accuski cruise control feature.

You can read more about it in the Accuski for Dummies under the maintenance tab

Thanks for clearing that up - do you know can it be connected to Perfect Pass by any chance? We've got a PP system to install and it would be real handy!

FIRST, wire up PP and jam out on perfect wake control. THEN,

Put some bigass lights on your tower, and wire that big red switch in like a hi beam switch on that ol ford. It's good around docks and whatever.
