I would NOT go for THIS SX!  I would buy Pete's...and I mean like QUICKLY!  That boat is not going to last long considering the limitied # of these boats, the exceptional condition his is in, the quality time he has put into it, AND not to mention it already has all of the goodies that you will want to buy the first week you have a new boat.  I'm not joking about this!! The season is getting ready to open and his boat WILL sell soon!  Best of Luck!

I think he also offered lifetime support (direct line to his cellphone if I'm not mistaken).  Search the threads and look at all the articles in the maintenance page.  You have an entire website of history on that boat.  I tried to get Flyn2001 to consider it, but he couldn't escape the boat that matched his 4 Runner!  Pete, I'll keep an ear out for someone looking to buy a boat here, I'm trying to make Del Rio the official middle of nowhere Toyota town.  Heck, it only took Fly2001 one trip on an Epic to sell off his new Suburu and go in search of his matching Toyota boat.

All you have to do is go through the options he has on his boat put a dollar value to them, don't forget about the labor already done = more boating time all this plus the condition of the boat and piece of mind that it was done by the best.I think you will come to the realization of  the value of what you are getting.

Still have not made a decision... Pete's boat sounds, looks and has to be very nice... options make it very attractive. I like to slalom and perfect pass is something I would really enjoy. We live in the Country to the north where I am guessing our season is significantly shorter than yours but we still managed to put 100 hours on our Epic 21 last summer (first year we had it)... we really like our boat but would like to have that open bow... always have a boat load of kids and a couple sitting on the shore... not sure why I am looking so hard now... our water is still hard here and temperature is supposed to get above freezing for the first time in weeks today... lots of snow on the ground... anyway, appreciate you bringing it to my attention and that is an excellent price... there is a lot of value there... we are thinking hard about our options.

Cold North, I think you scared us when we thought you were ready to pounce on the boat with the hour meter issues, etc. Perhaps we got a little aggressive and scared you right back!!! I just went back and read your first post and you did mention you are just beginning to think about an open bow Epic. BTW, I have the E21, LOVE it, have heard from the authorities that it is superb for slaloming but understand that it is a lot smaller than the others. I happen to be in a unique situation where it is ok to drive back and forth waving at the folks we leave on land. Because of that, I enjoy the sports car feel of it compared to the utility of the others. Anyway, IF YOU ARE READY NOW, Pete's boat, at his price, is a Deal or should I say Steal. However, don't rush into anything. Relax, enjoy this place and learn as much as you can.
Don't be so humble, you're not that great.
