1999 Epic 21 has a 1" shaft. I just had to replace my shaft & strut after hitting a log. OUCH! While I was at it I changed to a dripless packing set up. You will have to remove the flange at the transmission and get it off the shaft to change out your packing assembly. Email me if you need suggestions on the procedure and the size of the nut that holds the flange to the shaft. Include your phone number and I will call you.

Don't order both, look at the stamping on your prop, it will tell you if the shaft is 1" or 1 1/8.  I would go by that before I bought both.

MSP0010135 ShaftLogPackGland,1"Shaft,w/Packing,Plastic,White 17  9  $50.17  $15.00

The cost of a drip-less usually is over $100.
Remember the big nuts holds the shaft at the end at the tranmission.
