Got PP Stargazer installed by myself.  Thanks to the maintenance section it was pretty straight forward even for a non mechanical person like me.  I followed the directions except that there is no requirement for a paddle wheel so no drilling required!  I made a small mount for the GPS antenna when I was switching out the dash panels.
I took her out for a short shakedown cruise today and it worked very well.  I could not be more pleased with the speed control and the large display. 

I'm curious about the location you choose to install the antenna.  Why did you not put it behind the windshield on the fiberglass? That is where I plan on installing it.

I think putting it behind  the windshield would work fine.  It fit nicely where I put it and it's not in the way so I left it there.
