Tower pylon pole size???
« on: November 23, 2009, 17:49:37 pm »
If someone has their boat at their house, can you measure the size of pole that the pylon on the tower is?  I would like a measurement of the pole it's self, not the eye.

Thank you!!

Thank you! I did not expect it to be bigger than the rest of the tower at 1 5/8. Maybe it is 1 3/4 with power coating?

I measured again with a caliper and it's 4.4cm which is 1 3/4" I measured across the top of the pylon.  If you need more info or a different measurement let me know

Yep, pretty darn close to 1.75"

Since you have calipers, can you measure the diameter of the eye also and the height of the eye?

You are the man!  3cm, is that the thickness of the pole in the center of the eye? Or the height of the eye?
