I was at the boat today and I uplugged the orange harnesses and turned the batteries back on and the switches all blinked.  Next i pushed each button and they all lite up.  The strange thing is that once you pushed one button, all buttons lite up green.  Push any button again and the color changed to red.  Prior to the switces  not working , when you pushed the button it lite up white.

Now I plugged the orange harnesses back in and everything worked. When push any button all 10 light green and when you push that same button again it turns reb and the device assoicated to it works.  So do chalk this up to loose harness or fluke or do i remove the switches and DECC and send them to Capt. Rick.  Thoughts?

Sorry, to highjack your thread but...

Captain Rick,
why are his switches changing color?

On my new (to me) boat everything works except the courtesy lights and rear light. i thought it was the switch, but the power is coming from the switch just fine and i find it hard to believe that every light is burnt out.
any ideas?
