Sorry guys. Digital camera problems, etc., but can still snag pics off the website, right? This is the one I used two of:

The guy at Ameritrail told me that the boats were way heavier than published, "why do you think we started using 6-lug hubs?"
And yes, my trailer came with an underbelly mount. After we took possession of the boat, but before leaving Dallas for the trip home, we decided to make sure we had the right lug wrench, that the lugs could all come loose and that we could get the spare off. Good thing we did, too. Hanging out in the Lewisville Home Depot parking lot trying to get the one retaining bolt free...Ended up unbolting the entire bracket from the trailer frame and took it (with spare tire connected) to a service station so they could impact-wrench the bolt loose. As it turns out, the tire lays in a bracket and there's one bolt that goes down through the wheel into a nut that's welded onto the bracket that's bolted onto the frame.
Problem with mine was that the bracket was mounted too high, or the wheel was too deep, or the bunks were too low. Either way, the keel would rest on the tire and looked like it COULD ounce on the rim edge. I looked at the thing for almost a year before going ahead and deep sixing it. Now there's two standard mounts with two spares, and two black nylon covers for looks (or UV protection or however they market them).
