That totally ROCKS you will love it. It is just the coolest thing ever, I don't care what brand of boat you have.

what kinda bucks is it going to cost you? Parts/install?
Does anyone with the accuski swear by it?  Sort of heard mixed things about it.

Lots of past discussion on the subject here. To recap, Accuski sucks, especially in our boats. To fix the problem, Pete's got Perfect Pass to prototype an Epic installation. He says it's done wonders for his riding and he can finally throw the KGB.

As an accessory, it ranks a close second to a bilge plug.

Every couple months I spout off some crap about wishing we could fix Accuski, but am typically an ATNA (all talk, no action).

All the ATNA's, please stand up!   ;D

Perfect Pass rules, I'm jealous (but probably will leave it at that)!

I went directly through perfect pass and with everything you need, it was shipped to my door by second day air for only $1099.00.  They covered the sales tax and shipping, you can't beat it.

Yes,
They have a bunch of styles, see their site for pics. I got the generic 5" one. It fits like a glove. They are very cool about giving you whatever suits your needs.

I replace my worthless speedo, I was tempted to use the combo gauge that they have with a needle type tach and an LCD speed display, but the tach won't work with our boats because of the 2ppr tach output. Normal boats/engines are 4ppr for the tach so it would read 1/2 actual engine speed.

Good news is that the stock speedo still displays on the Accuski gauge. I was going to rip that out instead of the speedo but I would lose my depth finder display. I am working on adapting a generic LCD for that anyway, I'd like a full time depth display.

My Accuski gauge has a different (lower) hours reading than the hours on my tachometer. Not sure how things are hooked up there.

Not sure how that works, either. Just know that the tach's hour indicator doesn't match the message center's. Maybe one's engine hours and the other is MMDC hours (one includes Accy time - radio)??

My tach hour meter has a considerably higher reading than the Accuski gauge. For a while, I was running the radio by leaving the red thingy plugged in until I noticed that the hours were incrementing on the tach hour meter. If you pull the red thing while the engine is running, the radio is still powered without running the hours up

HOLY INCREMENTING DIGITS, CYCLONEMAN !!!!

If it's true that the tach gauge increments on ACCY, I've got some recalculating to do. Like GPH, and hours this year (pretty poor already). And if you're basing maintenance items on that..

If so, there's a real reason to 'fix' the problem by giving the radio uninterrupted power.
