It started with the clutch plates and odd performance and ended with uncertainty. If I had the dealer try to repair the transmission, they would have had to outsource the work to another shop. If the outside shop didn't fix it properly, there would not be a guarantee and I'd have to pony up for additional work. It seemed like a potential money pit, since the outside shop had not done any work on an Epic transmission before. There were more questions than answers about the right way to go. Then, my dealer worked closedly with Rick to find a good solution. With Rick's help, they were able to find a salvage Epic transmission in town with 20 hours on it and I saved a bundle vs. buying a new transmission. Thanks, Rick, for your help.
