Ad says "Annually serviced by Phil Dill Boats of Lewisville." It would be a good idea to check the service records.

I thought that same thing. I knew there would be some other investigation that needed to be done. That is interesting about the computer being replaced.. ? I am learning a lot here.

I noticed the vinyl in the pictures and the colors as well. This looks pretty decent, but I am going to hold out for an E21. I am sure my Pathfinder can't pull the 2950lb x22, plus I want the E21. I noticed today the bid is at 17300, not bad. I like the advice everyone is giving about the hour meters and such. This is super valuable info when I go to get my E21.

Thanks!

epic_toy --- your post had me laughing out loud.."t's like 2 fill ups in 5 years! Did they just float around in it?"

After days and days of looking at hundreds of boats, I pulled the trigger and went for an S-22.  I wouldn't even consider the boat without this website. I spent several hours pouring over the details.
My big concern, like most, was the end of factory support.  The bottom line is that nothing in my price range compared to what I could get with the epic.  The engine (less than 50hrs) is awesome and everything is clean.
I will put my boat on the map when I get a chance.

Thanks for all the info
Dave

Thanks Derek
Live in Atlanta. Sold my 98 Air Nautique for a more family oriented boat. The only thing I need to add is a ballast setup and I'll be good.
Always liked the toyota quality.  I too have seen a lot of terrorist driving the 4 door toyota truck in places where there are no roads.  They just keep going....until a 20mm hits 'em

Welcome to the S22 club, Bullet! We'll have to hook up on the lake next year. You put in on Lanier? Hartwell?

This forum is great. I've learned boatloads of stuff about our boats on this site. What year is your s22?

Lesman,
It's a 2001 S22.
I had my Nautique at Arrowhead.  Small but not many boaters during the week.  Most over 65.
Usually store the boat near Altoona and may just keep it there next summer and drag it to different places.
This site is the burning bush of Epic knowledge!

I always like the red ones (boats not bushes)(the kind of bushes growing in the front yard you sickos). Congrats on the purchase. What the heckily diddily do is that avatar you've got. My neighbor has something like that blue doohickey rotting in in front of his trailer.

I like the 2 color red set up as well on the S-22.  Any color bushes are fine with me as long as they're not burning. As far as the blue doohickey, I am in the market for one of those too.

Burning bushes - Oh to be young again.

Welcome to Toyotaville. You will love your boat. Superb to hear you are in Atlanta. The 2nd Annual Southeastern Epic Roundup will certainly set records. We should plan it when Bitzco is in the area next summer (or anyone else for that matter!) Next summer, it sounds so far away------

Yeah, It's hard to buy a boat then winterize it.  I think I'm gonna drag it out this weekend and wakeboard behind it just so I have something to look forward to. Then I will use the info from this site and winterize it and think of stuff to add to her.
It's Veterans Day.  Thanks to all who serve / served.
