After looking at the map of Epic owners, I started wondering just how many of our boats are out there and what percentage get on here?
My wife is making me go with her to Carmell, Ca. tomorrow to visit her cousins.  Any one close, there?

Carmel is beautiful. I was going to try to hit Clint Eastwood's restaraunt on a recommendation. Think it's called 'Hog's Breath'.

Close to there is Monterrey Bay (home of the Naval Postgraduate School I had visions of attending). Some fun places to eat right on the 'wharf.'

If you had brought your tow vehicle, you could hit the Sears Point raceway and see how the diesel dizzle does on twisty track.

When you get up there, you could probably hear Shawn's Epic bumping off in the distance. He's probly a hundred miles or so.

I'm down near LA so won't be of much use to you this trip ;-(

Have fun and enjoy the coolest state in the union!!!!

Ps. If you guys do get up to San Francisco, MKAE SURE you hit The Stinking Rose for dinner. Their slogan is, "We season our garlic with food". Outstanding place with amazing atmosphere and great food. Make sure you order the Bagna Calda appetizer and ask the waitor how to do it properly.

Welcome our newest Wisconsin Epic owner.

I would guess there is at least 20 of us Wisconsin people out there but many that never go to this site.  I have no idea why they wouldn't.  Maybe some are just lurkers and need to register and get on the map.

I would like to know how many boats Safro Marine Sports sold.  That would probably be close to the number around here.  The next nearest dealer was in Indy but these boats do migrate around for the people "in the know" of how fun these boats are.

I asked to Jim Tessmer, Jr. this when I bought my boat.  I think he said that Safro may have sold about 15 in '99 and then about 30 in '00 and 30 in '01.  As the only dealer in the WI/IL/MN corridor, I think you are right about the boats getting spread around the upper Midwest.

The more I did into this site, the more I like it.  Great job to those here before me for putting it together.  I've registered my boat, and put it on the map.

If anyone travels the area between Durham, NC and Richmond, VA - you'd know that South Hill, VA is about dead in between on I-85.

Interesting - they don't call it Kerr Lake in VA - it's called Buggs Island Lake on this side of the NC/VA border.

So when I was at Marine Products the other day, there were 10 or 12 epics in the service lot getting dewinterized/ready for the Memorial Day weekend, etc. Talk about a roundup. I wonder why none of these people have joined us or spoken up on the site. In the words of Pink Floyd, "Hello, hello, hello is there anybody in there." I also saw a yellow O2 cruising down the freeway the other day. Very nice. Maybe the rest of the Utah people have jobs or don't avoid doing their jobs by spending the day on Epicmarine.com. Maybe we should post a few Epicmarine.com decals at Marine Products to advertise to the other owners that we are here. What do you think Brad? I'd chip in to do that.

Come to think of it, maybe you could sell some decals through Marine Products. They could put a set in their display case, on the front door, or across Jeremy's forehead.

Hey PLUS,
I take my boat on a little trip every year up to Kerr Lake. My pal has a lake house right off 85 at the Satterwhite Point exit. I usually go up there the week before or after the fall Richmond nascar race, (Sept) and make that part of the festivities. If you are around that week we should hook up! Oh yeah, if you want race tickets that's no problema, my pal gets them by the bushel basket.
