Yeah, it's probably too late for today, but I'd recommend three different tests: back it down until she's floating and look for leaks. There should be zero water. None, nada, zilch. Next, while it's still got the trailer under it, start the engine. There should be none, nada, zilch there, either. Make sure you take your time and look at block petcocks, back by the rudder tiller, etc. - all those places that our man BAD pointed you to.

If all is well there, then back her off the trailer and watch the coupling.

And for everybody else with the normal packing- while the tranny's disengaged, there should be NO drips at all. Only during shaft rotation should there be any drips.

With your souped up dripless setup, ANY water is bad. IMO.

tenn162000....this has been mentioned a couple of times, but always good to have a reminder. if you have a shower make sure both nob's are turned off! i was out there trying to figure out where all the water was comming from too. went back to jump in the still chilly water and the memory kicked in about the shower being turned off ALL THE WAY. it was only 1/3 of the way on and only spewed out water (a lot) when under power. soaked the carpet under the rear seat and then ran into the bilge so wasn't very obvious.
