Hey dave,  I usually wakeboard and skyski lately. I do love to slalom but do not have easy access to a course.

I'll bring the boat, the E22 has a good wake to slalom.
I bought a HO phantom last season, love it but really don't have the good water to use it as much as I would like.

Hey guys, I am in Canton, GA. Not enjoying the winter and waiting for better weather. I've had my X22 since Aug. 1999. I'm one of the pioneers.

I'm definitely no pioneer, but I am jealous!!! That boat looks awesome.

Off-topic story:
In the three months I've owned my Epic, all I've gotten to do is polish, look at pictures, compare to other people's boats, bug the people on epicmarine.com, do the same to the kids on yotatech.com, repeat cycle.  Oh, and I've managed to break a lot of sh#@ (hence the new name, VillageIdiot).  You should hear the most recent one.  Me calling Jeff Dorge: "I know you're getting really sick of me, but I need a new windshield.  And a trailer jack."

Without bugging Jeff Dorge again, what does Toyota charge for the tramp top?  Can you mount them up any higher, or do they have to be mounted at that exact height?

I paid about $400 for the top, which I feel like was a great price. The dealer said they ordered if for someone else and it didn't fit their tower. He said that he had if for about a year, so he just wanted to get rid of it. He said it should of been about $800.00.

It is mounted as high as possible as it is just under the tower speakers. It's exactly at forehead height, I have the bumps to prove it. It would be nice if it were higher.

when the ice melts we will set up the slalom cours and ski.  Come down any time, I would love to check out the slalom wake on a ddrive.

Wakefoot here just biding my time until early late April/early May when I can hit the lakes @ about 64 degrees. The Snake river which runs thru my hometown of Lewiston ID warms up to mid 60's by the middle of June and is comfortable until the first week of October.  This is a great place to ride-very little wind, long, wide and slow river in these parts. Perfect for wakeboarding.  Only 2 more months!!!!

As this site grows, which I think it will with the lack of participation or obstruction from Toyota, (they don't care) I think we need to coordinate regional events where we can enjoy cool Toyota boats together even in the off season. I think we should all get a place somewhere warm, Florida, most likely, for a week or so and tow some boats down for a nice winter vacation. I volunteer mine!

Whaddya think?

And I vote for a Northwest chapter, at the ginormous Lake Roosevelt.  Just need to get these Northwesterners out of their flannel shirts and fleeces... and into their board shorts.

Consider my boat volunteered.

Northwest kids: raise your hands.

-Wakefoot (Lewiston, ID)
-FreeriderinWA (somewhere, WA)
-VillageIdiot (Seattle, WA)

We obviously need to get the epicmarine.com word out, because there are Epic's all over up here...yet little representation on the site.

Remember: the more we spread the word about our Epic's, the less our boats' values will plummet in 2011!!!

How about a Great White North(east) chapter on Moosehead Lake, Maine! :o

Ooops, nevermind, I got caught up in the frenzy!  They are doing oval track racing ON THE ICE there right now--and ice-out doesn't happen until May.  Bummer!
