Eagle1,What shop are you taking yours to? I've asked Skipper Buds to work up a quote during this winter. I am tempted to call Safro to get a quote from them, as well. I'd be interested in knowing about your tech, too.
ok ive done this timing belt replacement on my friends e21. its not that bad of a job at all. it shouldnt take long at all. just curious about some of those other parts your replacing and why? like the bearings and tensioners and seals.

I will let the Toy/Lex techs take this further but it seems the general concern is all stuff wears out eventually and replacing these items while you are in there "resets" the clock - the majority of this particular job is labor and if you have to go back in there to replace a $50 tensioner you are looking at doing a majority of that labor all over again
