I have always used a Toyota filter.  My last 20004 filter is in the boat now but that part number is now YZZD3.

I think the old one was 7-8 bucks and the new one sounds like it is even cheaper.  I found a place online 10 for $40 shipped and it still has the by-pass valve.  At that price I wouldn't give the wally world filter a chance.

Anyone use this YZZD3 yet?  Is it the same size?  I know there isn't much room on the DD boats for the bigger Mobil 1.  I might just use the smaller M1 filter next time.

I only chage oil once a season usually so spending a couple extra bucks for quality is worth it to me.

Listen to this- Cleaning out the Boat I found the Orginal Dip Stick in PERFECT shape (not that anything should be wrong with a dip stick)-  I got it cleaned up and matched it up to my new one and there is a size difference afterall.  About 3/4 and inch I would say.  Checking my oil now- Its over full do to that extra half quart I put in -  Thinking about naming the boat right now to "toyota tease"  because she keeps playing with my emotions...   What a beautiful BOAT!!! I am also taking off the gravity games "offical tow boat" stickers - They make me look like a hardcore wakeboarder which I am not- As of Yet!

Now that's a happy ending - found your stick, it's 3/4" longer than you thought, and ended with killing the GG stickers!

It's always rewarding to watch people fall in love with their Epics.

Makes me remember my first time with her. Still have that feeling, though. As with marriage, the older the relationship, the more kids and kids activities...the less often you get to take her out. It's kinda like riding a bike though, once you get her uncovered, it all comes back. Sometimes I slip under the covers to make sure everything's still good - check on the cushions and of course the drivetrain. Usually get carried away and before reaching for the dipstick, I realize it's best to save that for when she's uncovered all the way.

Yep, I'm a dork. But I mean it about watching people with their new Epics.

LMAO-  Thats So SWEET!!! haha-

Got on WakeWorld.com and started posting on there last night- Saw a few of you guys- Spreading the EPIC love... Awesome!!!

Today finally changed out that blower (harder then it seems with those flimsy air ducts and the angle and spent about 6 hours around MEMPHIS trying to find the 3'' exhaust hose for marine use.  Found it at the last shop-  150.00 bucks for all 9 feet...  Going to change that stuff out tomorrow before heading to lake... Took on alot of water last time we tried to launch and ended up only putting on .1 hours on the boat all day.  I am hoping it was just a exhaust hose problem and nothing more serious...  Hopefully she floats tomorrow... Physics (gravity) just has its way with boats sometime... I guess in the case of the Titanic it was not only gravity but and ice berg as well.  It wasn't a good first impression with the family.  But hoping to really impress tomorrow.
