Derek, I actually live in Lake Elsinore but I did not have room to store the boat on my property. The boat is currently stored at my brother in laws house. He lives up in the hills off of Promenade/McKinley. I used to work in Corona about a mile from my brother in laws house so it was not that big of a deal to pick it up on the way home. Outside of family and my boat, I think I am going to miss Miguels more than anything else after I move. I have been eating there for more than 23 years.
I would have loved to get more ride time in, but I am actually packing up the house today and heading out tomorrow.
I have debated back and forth on what I should do with the boat. Is it better to pay to have it hauled to Pennsylvania where there is a very short riding season (less demand?), or continue to try and sell it here in Cali? The problem with most of Cali is they are looking for the bling boats. However, I remember when I was looking for a Toyota there were not any for sale within 1,500 miles.
Blindside, nope the wife didn't leave. Been happily married for 16 years. However, after living here for 38 years I am divorcing myself from Cali due to irreconsilable differences. Too many people, no infrastructure, too hot, schools suck, too expensive, housing bubble is going to pop, etc...
