Coolings system
« on: September 29, 2006, 11:31:42 am »
The boat has finally landed in the emerald Isle and we are going to start working on the engine this weekend. We were having a good look at it last night and want to make sure we are correct thinking that the cooling system comes directly from the lake throught the gearbox heat exchanger and then through the engine and straight back out through the exhaust system. We had thought it might have a resevoir but are pritty sure it runs as above.
Any advice or experience anyone has would be welcome. We have the manual but hand on experince is generally the best.
Cheers
Robbie

Robbie,
It should go like this,....... through hull, "sea strainer", tramsmission cooler,
water pump, into engine. Good luck to you and your friends, have fun.
