It's time to revive this old question.  Any more insights out there?  What should I look for?  What are the traps?

I bought a 4500# vertical lift from Lakesidelift.com that i use with my x-22 and it works great.  It was also a great deal.  I'm in the process of buying a canopy for it and got a nice discount for being a repeat buyer.  Dave their sales guy has been very helpful as well.  Would highly recommend.

I use a 4000 pound shore station "vertical" lift as well.

Make sure you have the right bunk kit, if it was set up for a different boat (or is brand new) the cost of the rails could suprise you.  Make sure that is part of the deal or account for it.  Side rails on a lift are helpful but not necessary.  It is up to you wheter to get a canopy or not.  With a canopy we don't put the boat cover on, we just crank it up all the way.

Oh yeah, and electric crank helps as well, unless you like the workout of it.

www.aqualiftinc.com   Put one in yesterday. Hooked up the garden hose and good to go. about $6K depending on options. 100+ in use on this small lake alone. If no answer at company try Kyle at 360-790-7913 and he'll get back to you within 24hrs. They're really busy right now. The 4000# lift is all you need.

Masonlke22 -- I'm catching up on old threads.  I think I waved to you last summer while wakeboarding on Mason Lake.  We were actually on Terry's (highflyin's) SX.  But your boat sure looked beautiful!  Mason Lake is a great spot.  Usually make it down there once per summer to visit some friends.  I'll try and drop a note next time I'm headed down there.

I see that the lifts come in many different widths.  What width are you using for an E22?

I think you are just a couple inches wider than my E21, we have a 108" and have plenty of room.  Look at the pic above - we have the boat gides in a couple inches on each side further in than they could be.

4000# Shorestation - God it's a pain to crank up.  Love the garden hose idea.

Shorestation cautions to take the plug out whenever the boat is on the hoist as a little rain filling up the bilge can easily overload the lift and cause it to collapse.  Even though it's covered, I've been removing the plug - would be nice if I could just rig up a valve that can be opened or closed - but any I've found that fit are about 4" long & I'm afraid of maybe having it break off or spring a leak when underway and down we go....

VillageIdiot...wasn't me. I just bought this boat a month ago (undecided). Thanks for the compliment though, I think she's beautiful too! If you get out to the lake we're on the right headed toward the Simpson Timber employee park.

Hey Windy

I've never had a problem with getting any significant amounts of water in the boat.  You could set the bilge pump to "auto" so it would pump itself out if necessary.  I think that is safer than someone forgetting to put the plug back in.
