What's wrong with this picture?

We had 80 - 90 MPH winds the other night and this is all i can see of my vertical boat lift and canopy.  Oops, I guess it is better to take the canopy off during the winter.   Se la vie.........

It's a good thing you boat wasn't on there.  What lake is that?  It looks like a nice lake.

On the positive side, there is still something there to tie up to when you bring the boat out in the spring.

I was looking to put a cover on my lift and was concerned about that very problem.
I looked at the Conestoga Cover

I don't have a garage to put the boat into so I am trying to protect her the best I can.
Anyone have either cover?
