Swivel seat

Has anyone installed a swivel base on the driver seat?  If so, I would love to hear what parts you used and how difficult the install was.

Thanks

West Marine sells a swivel plate that you can put under your seat,  a couple of guys on Wakewold have done it. I thought about it but I don't think there is room with the seat we have, it looks like it would hit the armrest. Here's the part, I think the guy mounted it to a piece of 1/4" steel plate and then put his seat on it.

I bought my boat with a swivel seat.  I will look at it this afternoon, and see exactly how the previous owner installed it.
