Help me figure out what model I have?

I recently purchased a Toyota 21' 7" boat. It is a 1999 and not a bowrider. The hull number is SOETA010E899. Does this number indicate the model number?

Hey Bill,

I'm no expert, I just bought my Toyota about three weeks ago.  But I think something is incorrect with the info you provided...all the 21'8" boats are open bows, the models Epic X22 and 22.  The X22 comes with a tower and ballast system, the 22 does not.  

The Epic 21 is the closed bow ski boat, but I don't think it's that long?  I think it's more like 20.5' or 21'.  It isn't offered with a tower, and I would doubt Toyota made it as an option.  You should be able to find an aftermarket tower.  But contact one of the Toyota reps or old Toyota dealers, they can help you figure it out.  You can search these pages for contact info in your area, or wait for somebody else to chime in?

Bill, I've seen the Toyota VIN decoder, but can't remember if it was in the dealer's books or on the net somewhere.
