mobile 1 synthetic oil

just changed my oil in my epic 21. I saw some forums that said use mobile 1 5w 30 synthetic oil, so i did. but afterwards i looked at the back of the canister and it doesnt list as being SJ approved is this O.k or should i swap it back out with an SJ approved oil?

I run it in my fishing boat (don't worry...its saltwater only) engine -- Yamaha F225 4-stroke. No problems after 3 years.

Dont worry, I run Amsoil synthetic in all my toys (except my Scarab, when the Merc O/B gets rebuilt I will use it then).  Use either their 0W-30 or the heavy duty 5W-30.  Mostly the 0W-30 though, and my TrailBlazer loves it.  Epic will be getting an oil change here in about a week (when I get it back home from storage in Coeur d' Alene) using all Amsoil stuff and the Universal ATF in the trans as well.
