My 2001 SX uses Rule 1100 pumps.  One for filling and one for emptying.

Send me those pics, your boat will be easy to fix because you have all the parts and wiring in place. You probably can reuse 90% of the parts. Don't chuck the hose, it is black 148 tubing, costs 2.99$ a foot. It is absolutely the best marine hose you can buy. Much better than the non-bilge rated crap that other manufacturers use.

The main thing I don't understand is all of this wiring. It seems that Indiana marine made some revisions, and since my boat is number 5 of the 50 or so SX's made I need a different wiring diagram than the one on the site.

The confusing part of the wiring is that I have all of these males and females that are not compatible (different shaped plugs etc.) The wiring is so intricate that I can't figure out where to install the GPS, where to install the fat sac that goes in the trunk (that has it's own drain/fill buttons next to the ballast buttons), or how the ballast system is intended to be wired.

Is it really backwards from the factory on some boats? What is the correct fix for that?

Indiana marine sucks. They totally ignore my emails. Rick Cohen sends emails in an unopenable attachment, so I have so far no luck....

Grrrrr..... ???

Turns out that the wires were corroded, and one pump was mad about being full of Florida sand. Now if I can get the LED's to work....

Forgot to mention that the pump leaking everywhere was missing 3 screws to the base, and the one with sand... took it apart and found a screw lodged in the impeller, which to my amazement was in great shape.

PUT THE BADBOY BACK TOGETHER AND IT WORKS LIKE A CHAMP! ;D

That is so cool. I knew that it was something simple, especially after seeing the pictures of that rats nest! Seriously, though. Rule pumps are the best, and as far as wiring, my boat looks the same, the harnesses contain lots of extra connectors. I think that a lot of the Epic electrical problems are due to exposed electrical connections. The connections to the MDC box should be cleaned. They get damp and corroded and cause faulty gauge readings.

You're not kidding about the weatherproofing problem, my DDU has stripes across the screen sometimes, and freaks out other times...

Now if I can get my depth finder to read past 4 feet...

I had my DDU (multifunction digital gauge, millenium dash and those with accuski) replaced under warrantee for the lines. I forgot about that. I went in with a laundry list of little stuff right before my warrantee expired
