Possible Interest in my 2002 Toyota Epic SX
« on: November 05, 2007, 00:50:39 am »
:-\ I am considering the sale of my 2002 SX.  The boat is in excellent shape (approx 300 hours) and comes with almost every factory option available.  The boat has perfect pass pro, a new Bimini top, bazooka speakers and sub, odyssey battery, and the trailer had a complete overhaul at the beginning of the year.  I say considering, because I am not certain that I will sell it.  I wouldn't sell it, except I am preparing to move to San Antonio in March/April time frame and I am buying a new house at that time.  The only problem with the boat is the left internal ballast tank (it has a small leak).  I am planning on working on that this winter (if I don't sell it).  I have two Fly High ballast bags and pump that I have been using for the last 4 months and I would include those if I haven't fixed the internal tank yet.  I am asking $28,500.00 and I am pretty firm on that price for now.  If you are interested or want more information, please PM me and I will get back to you.

Well it looks like nobody wants to buy my boat to winterize and look at all winter, so I guess I will have to keep it.  I will be starting my winter projects (ballast fix, ground wire, and winterizing) in the next couple of weeks, and I will try to take pictures as I go.  I am also hoping to get at least 2 or 3 more outings (it's still in the 80's here) before our season is over in S. Texas.

Thanks

When do you want to get started on the winterizing?  I say we winterize together again.  I also need to locate the source of that leak from the back of the boat, fix the ground wire and fix some stereo stuff.

Dang Mang, that thing is sweet. Is that purple or dark blue. My semi color-blind eyes are having trouble distinguishing between those shades in the picture. I may be interested in a few months, but for now I am holding off for some property to sell. I may check back in with you after they sell to see if you still have it on the market. If you have any interior pics that would be a bonus too.

Thanks!  It's purple, black, and yellow.  It's the only one with those colors and is the same boat that is in the 2002 Toyota Epic catalog.

I close on my new house at the end of the month and it appears I will not need to sell my boat.  I really didn't want to sell it, but had to at least consider the possibility.

Good luck with your property, I'm sure there will be some nice boats available in the Spring.

Thanks KTown, although I have to say I am sorry that it worked out for you.  :D You are probably right, spring will be a good time and it always seems to be. Good luck on your new house as well. I will be scouring the internat as soon as my lots are sold and trying to find one that I think compares to yours. The Yotas with color catch my eye immediately and yours is SHARP! Somehow I knew you would find a way to keep that thing! ;D

b8b - I sent you a PM

For anyone else that might come across this post, I am not actively trying to sell my boat.  With that said, I just moved to the San Antonio area and I am not sure how much I will get to use the boat here.  If someone from this site is interested in it, I will definitely consider selling.  If anyone is interested, let me know and I will PM you my phone number.

Thanks,

Ktown

UPDATE

I've decided, I really don't want to sell my boat.  I had been toying with selling, but in the end, I just can't get rid of such a great boat.  Supraspeed, I will PM you to make sure you get the message.

Thanks,

Glad you're keeping the boat K-town. If you're in SA now, come up to Travis and see us the week of the 4th. We have the house, and hopefully there are no floods in sight!

If we are in town, you can definitely count me in.  I don't think we will be staying on the lake, but a day trip is definitely likely.
