Need help with Accuski!
« on: March 14, 2004, 17:09:19 pm »
Hello,

I'm new to this site and I must say this is amazing!  I have owned my 2001 X22 GG Edition for almost 3 years...it rocks!  I have one problem...the accuski got switched from X22 to S22 and now the settings are all $#@$#@.  Also,  I can't figure how to get the #@(#U thing to work!  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need the word document concerning MDDC/message center instructions. If nobody else has hooked you up, I'll send a copy Wednesday when back to the office.

And, when you can, please describe in detail your experience with the system, including speeds, ballast, mode you run it in (rpm or speed), and what kind of relations you've had with Accuski. In other words, we need to hear your life story ;-)

I usually ride with the locker ballast and 1 extra fat sac.  I have never been able to get the speed to lock.  The Accuski instruction manual says to get close to the speed you want and then engage the cruise.  I have had no luck.  I'm not sure if its suppose to control the speed or rpm, but after reading the manual, I thought it did have some similar feature.  Please let me know if you have any additional info.  Thanks!

you can go to accuski.com for instructions on how to use it.  I have had no luck in mph mode.  Only rpm mode.

You actually got your Accuski to work?  Does it hold at the desired rpm?  I checked the website, but it does not explain how to reconfigure the system from S22 to X22.

I'm an accuski idiot, but I think that there is something in the  "Configure" module where you can select what boat model you have.  I'm nowhere near my boat right now, but I know I stumbled across it last weekend when I was pushing buttons like crazy...

I think there's a master reset in there too, either under configure or under Accuski settings.

But then again, I have no idea what I'm talking about.  I'm just bored at work and felt like posting.
