Go for it man, The boats are freakin awsome, and the help on here is amazing. I've only had mine for about 6 months, (still not on the map) and every time I have a question, it is answered. It is a little agravating when somthing goes wrong, but with a little patients, we will help in any way we can. As for the new motor, no big deal if it looks and runs good. Although mine still looks new and runs strong. Talk to the dealer (if that is where you are buing it) and see if he can give you a month warranty or somthing. Look at it, 6 hours is a long way. Don't test drive for only a few minutes, let him know you want to spend some time on the water. Check for leaks in the bow, if it has ballast, check that, showers, bilge pumps, temps, your the boss.
