I have a new relatively cheap to run tow vehicle, not an issue. I just thought that Breakaway might have a trade or something we could exploit for a couple of days.  Not a problem for me to drag my boat there, just would like some company on the way:)

I guess we should find out if the guys in TX want to do this before we all arrive there:) I DO have a great wakeboarding pal/family in Dallas that would help us out,  but TX is a big place and I don't know where everyone is situated.

I will reiterate that I have stupid skymiles and will fly people to whereever if that's what it takes. DEREK TOYOTAFREAK GRTDNA I am talking to you and yours but as your governator says, "hear me now and believe me later" I will hook up whomever to come hang out. Hotel points too. I know times are tough, this is free sheott for me that accumulates because of what I do for a living. It costs me nothing more than a phone call.

Bitz, it would be great to see your whole crew but you guys procreate more than I accumulate (skymiles;) HAHAh thats funny right there, but that's the way it should be, god bless:) You should pack the crew up and attend somehow;) I can help out with rooms;) Of course, your extended family of Mallibew defectors are absolutely welcome. I'm dyin' to chedk out the 247, that is the holy grail of gas bills and righteous excess. Not if you have 18 kids like Festivus, just a necessity! Seriously, if we could recreate the famous sinker rootbeer pic with 180 Epic owners and mullets, coolers, a trailer or two, thet would be kewl. That was and is and will always be the coolest Epic picture ever, even though there is no Epic in it;) Some of you new guys don't know the story of the Sinker. You'll have to use the search function and go to the picture page.

The second coolest pic is the dude holding the Miller GD with one hand while busting his ass at 40 MPH on the barefoot boom;)

CAL, I know you have your mullet wig still.;)  And the 78 Trans Am T shirt. We are all going to have to dig deep into the trashbin of forgotten stupid T shirts. There will be a reward for the dumbest one.

Every roundup we've had has been a hoot for all, Epic owners from all walks of life that like being out in the sun and in the water with their families and pals. We need to get over 100 boats together. Wouldn't that be something? I think that Texas is the logical central place. Gotta dream big;)

I joined the thread late - wasn't looking for a boat!

All of this talk about setting records with Epics scared me at first - we have struggled to get our seven together for the current WORLD RECORD!!! However, Pete makes sense - it would be wild to get dozens of them together in in one spot. To do that we each need to bring our boats - I just towed a tandem axle trailer loaded to the gills with high school band equipment from Atlanta to Miami so I have officailly learned to tow. The next step would be to get my trailer road worthy. It hasn't moved since Breakaway parked it at my place. I suspect it needs a little TLC.

So, towing or going along for the ride with one of the guys, count me in.

Another awesome sight would be to caravan. 10 or more boats in single file along the Innterstate would sure turn heads-
Don't be so humble, you're not that great.

Although I have never been, I think Lake Travis could be pretty kick A$$.  There is supposed to be this really cool cove called "Devils Cove" (http://www.austinlakes.com/pictureshtml/devilscove.htm) where most boats tie up and hang out.  There is also this really cool bar/grill (looking at the website) called Carlos N' Charlies (http://www.cncaustin.com/) where you can pull your boat up to a spot on their really big slip and then go inside and drink your choice of beverage and eat.   Just my $.02, but could be fun.  Anyone have a timeframe in mind?  It would really be cool to have a roundup of "EPIC" proportions!

I personally like lake lewisville.  theres sneaky petes which is a pull up bar and it is a super big lake so we have plenty of space to tie up... just a thought, its about 15 minutes north of dallas....
2000 Epic X22, (4) Alpine 8" MARINE TYPR R coax on the tower, JL m6450 pushing 6 Focal 6.5s inside, JL500/1 pushing a 12w3... Yeah its LOUD AND CLEAN!

I am totally in for an Epic Round-up.  I too would like to get to Lake Austin.  We had a trip planned for last year that got cancelled because of the floods we had.  Perhaps we should start a new thread to see who would be interested?
