fuel smell when turning new problem

i noticed that when making turns out on the lake that i get a "waft of gas smell"  now i know the over flow can do this but i was at half tank.  and i dont remember this at all in the past any ideas?

Check it out ASAP. Something has come loose.

Do you get the smell all the time or just when you do a hard turn?

Check all the clamps from the fill port to the tank to the engine. Fumes in the engine box is not good.

Also check your fuel filter.  I have had them leak. 
Run your exhaust blower for 4 minutes first to get out the fumes then:
With the engine off, press the red button on the back of the engine to run the fuel pumps for 5-10 seconds.  Then start touching all the connections and take a good sniff of your finger after each connection.  Also touch the bottom of the gas filter.
