Upgrading Docking lights
« on: July 28, 2008, 06:21:50 am »
Hull/docking light plastic cover is cracked. Anyone knows where I can get the replacement? Not listed in TMS. Other boats like SAN, Tige, Supra and Bu have cool looking stainless steel casing with clear plastic cover. Wonder if they will fit? Anybody ever tried to upgrade the docking lights yet?

If your looking upgrade your lighting system, I would recommend the Hella Marine HID series 8546. They use less power than factory halogens yet produce over twice the illumination. I'm setting up a lemonade stand to help save money for them. I believe they are around $800.00 american dollars, not pesos. Thats a lot of lemonade. Oh, and they are also available in stainless, but i cant find the model number.
