Me too, Kyle. So, if Brent is talking about a plate, then he's looking at the same deal that davidgree's asking about in the trim tab thread.
I sort of looked into these things last year because I was pulling the youngins at real low speeds and bow rise is bad there, and even at speed, there is evidence that we need more weight in the bow.
Trim tabs can only un-sink the back of the boat. This means that most likely, they can only reduce the size of your wake. If you've got problems with 1) bow rise and 2) whitewash at low speeds, the trim tab would probly help. But if you left the tab set to the same position all the time, that same setting might/would hurt your wakeboard wake.
Water ballast, or lead if you don't trailer.
